Breakfast Bowl of Goodness!

If you’re looking for a quick throw-it-together breakfast that doesn’t leave you staring uninspired at a piece of vegemite toast, I might have just the thing.

This breakfast bowl has everything you could want from a breakfast – it’s got texture, flavour and colour AND it’s full of nutritious fruits, healthy fats and protein. I promise, it only takes a couple of minutes to throw together too.

Start with a base

I love the natural chobani yoghurt. (If you find it too bitter, add a drizzle of honey).

Add some fruit

Berries are the best! I just use frozen blueberries and raspberries (so easy to keep on hand in the freezer).

Whatever is in your fruit bowl will do! Try adding a chopped apple or nectarine.

For an energy hit, add some sliced banana.

Sprinkle some goodness

This is where you can go nuts – literally! Whatever is in your kitchen pantry. My favourites:

  • Shredded coconut
  • Seeds – pumpkin, pepita, chia (LOVE, chia seeds)
  • Chopped almonds or walnuts – gives it a crunch factor!

If you don’t have any nuts or seeds, you can add some muesli or oats.

Tip: Layer it all in a jar (coconut oil jars come in handy here) and you’ve got a healthy breakfast ready to go wherever and whenever you are!
